Have you ever lost a .gam or .cca file too, due a harddisk crash or by deleting it? Then you'd better read this article.

1)Backup your .gam or .cca file now and then by making a copy of it in the same directory.

2)Save the graphics, sounds and music in the directory where your .gam or .cca file is, make rather some directories:

- Graphics
- Sounds
- Music

3)Always copy your .gam or .cca file after working on it to diskette (3,5 Inch or Zip) or on another harddisk. Do this also with the graphics, sounds and music.

4)Back-up your .gam of .cca file and the graphics, sounds en music once a month by burning them on cd-rom. I prefer rewritable cd-roms.

5)But watch out! Always check the file. Can you open it? In MMF I've had some problems:

- the .cca file was approximately 1MB too small or;
- the .cca file was about 250MB.

Now you now what to do, actually it's logical, but I know that some people don't make backups, please do, you will feel terrible if your harddisk crashes and you lost your files you were working on.

Anyway, it is not necessary to backup according this list, hopefully it is helpful.
