This is just a demo of a game in progress. The game is a mix of the classic Text adventures for the early computers, with simple yet strategic graphic battles similar to console rpgs.

Ok, frankly I'm not expecting many downloads, I doubt there's much interest in games such as this in the community. The game is somewhat of an experiment, I pulled it off to see if it would work. From my beta testers, it sounds like it does work.

Jirru, did you read the text file first? There's two attacks you can use, Normal and Special. I assumed you used the Special attack against the first enemy, which does zero damage to him as it hasn't been built up yet. Tip: Just use the normal attack to kill him, and save the special for the next battle.

Looks quite wierd. You should definently focus more on graphics. I know i know... It's not the graphics that makes the game but the gameplay, BUT... A game also needs graphics to make players like it for a longer time.

isn't it the opposite? graphics are needed for a good first impression?

I think graphics and gameplay should be combined in preferably equal measure. graphics on the screens make me inclined to try it, then if the gameplay is good im impressed, having said that namcos making pacman 3D didnt make it anybetter.
