MONGO MegaDraw is a drawing application, with many more features than the standard 'Paint'.

Features

• Several different tools: Pencil, Line, Rectangle, Ellipse, Polygon, Spray paint, Eraser, flood fill.
• Most of the tools have their own options, eg. outlined/filled for the shape tools, and different spray radius for the spray paint tool.
• 24-bit colour palette with saving of custom colours to 55 slots. All of the custom colours are saved to disk, for quick use later on.
• Manual entry of colours/clicking on the palette to select.
• Random ink, which changes the colour you draw with constantly as you draw - looks good with the spray paint tool.
• A dockable status bar, which sticks to the bottom of the window, and gives you quick help while you are drawing.
• A dockable colours sidebar, which has a standard colour palette of 24 colours.
• All seperate toolbars are on draggable windows.
• 16 different Autoshapes, including pentagram, star, trapezoid, sheep, arse, triangle and randomness, which can all be sized and positioned how you want them to be.
• A loading and saving system, with support for saving bitmaps (*.bmp), and opening these file types: *.bmp;*.dib;*.rle;*.pcx;*.gif;*.lbm;*.iff;*.jpg;*.jpeg.
• Able to copy the drawn image to the clipboard.
• Ability to print the drawn picture, or choose a saved picture to print from the menu, and print that.

Screenshot 1 shows a drawing, with all the toolbars open.
Screenshot 2 shows the print preview screen.
Screenshot 3 shows the main menu.
Screenshot 4 shows several different autoshapes (trapezoid, sheep, pentagram, arse and donut).

I have worked for quite a long time on this, so please download it. It's very much better than my previous 'MONGO' applications.

EDIT: Moved to a more reliable host.

Argh, oh no, another Phizzy Mongo thing.

Posted by DarkMatterX 24th August, 2004

And I can probaly get like, 1000 colors with Paint/Paint Shop Pro. Why would I need this? :o Good for a klik ap though, think I'll stick to paint.

You didn't even try the application, did you?

I can't resize the paper where I'm drawing and zoom option doesn't exist! You've used Overlay Redux?? Probably "Draw Object"...

This is damn good work Phizzy

Posted by 25th August, 2004

Thanks :) Darson: Hey, when'd you get back. Also: I didn't understand most of what you said.

needs better gui and logo, other than that, good.

Excellent, but the spray tool just sucks. How do you make it so that when drawing you don't get a bunch of disconnected circles but continuous lines (when making the game, that is)?

Phizzy... The lost cause

I'm a lost cause? {cry} It MUST be true if YOU said it! {cry} In other words: STFU

"Good work, but... I was making these way before I got up this morning, and I realised I can't make it any better, but yours is way better than mine." I think...

Phizzy, this software is good but, how can I resize the paper where I'm drawing?

Posted by 4th November, 2004

Sorry, you can't. But I'm planning on a far superior version in which you will be able to resize paper with an MDI interface etc.

Posted by Lupo 7th November, 2004

Wow! I can't wait! I hope you'll tell me what's the code for resize the paper (Overlay Redux?) when you've finished this last version..

I can say its a nice attempt of doing a paint drawing program,but...i can't see the reason of doing this since nobody will use it for the simple reason that there are out there more advanced&simple programs...! The only reason i can think of,is to show that this kind of programs can be done with a klik product! :)

"more advanced&simple programs"

...That's pretty contradictory.
