This is another 2002 'gem' i found recently in a stack of old PC disks (the other being METAL MILITIA demo)

This game is one of the most in depth tennis simulato... oh who am i kidding, this is Pong updated 2002-style. The bats are colour coded for each player (in glorious Technicolor!) and the ball is now spherical as opposed to square-shaped. The game has 3 difficulty levels in single player mode and - wait for it - supports TWO players against each other! That's right folks, play your best friend or smash your mortal enemy on Tennis 2002!

It ain't that bad, i was just being honest. It is what it is - a Pong clone. It's a good Pong clone, but how good could a Pong clone ever be?

Oh, and i just re-read my review of Tennis 2002 - why is 4/10 "poor", admins? I thought 4/10 is slightly below average, isn't it??

thats because this site suffers from review inflation where ratings under 6 are so rare that 7 or 8 becomes 'average'.

That was what i thought. It's a reflection of review scoring across the board i think, like when people complained to GameCentral on Channel 4 that they must have thought it wasn't a brilliant game coz it 'only' got 8/10!!
