Stickish

This is my up coming game. What i have uploaded here, it's just an engine of a basic movement and the graphics presentation. Well, till i will release a demo, with more things like: creatures, more obstacles; i will work for doing the engine better.

Keep an eye on it at http://sciisoft.com/indietimes and you will see what it's happening!

The first jump I made, my feet or something got stuck in the platform and then I had to be slowly lifted up. You may have to refine your collision system.

i know, it's a bit buggy, i'm learning to do my own custom movement by my own

Keep up the tweaking. The only issues I found were when the character came close to the edges of the platforms. For example, one time, the character was "hanging" by one arm. If you're using some sort of detector to check the position of the player, I recommend you make sure it's by their feet instead of on their entire body.

Once you're really good at it, you can create detectors that will let the player cling to edges and climb or jump while hanging from their arms.

Keep it up! You'll do great.

Close to perfect, IMO. I like the graphics too..

Looks like you're using PMO here. I suggest that you use a rectangular mask for the collisions, not the player itself. That would take care of the bugging.

Looks good to me and it sounds as if most of the apparent bugs in the game have already been explained to you.
I don't normally rate engines, but I look forward to playing your upcoming demo.
