Hi, I want to create some games, but without a software, you know what I mean. I'd like to create a card game, like Solitaire, but I need a create card game thing. I'd also like to create a Aquanoid like game, and again, I'm needing a good software made for this thing of game. And finaly, a Mario Game, I'm looking for a very good software that have in start all the SNES Mario sprites, musics, ect.

Thanks in advance.

I'm afraid I don't know what you mean. If you're looking for software which will give you a head start in creating a specific type of game I think that this would be very limiting - you're far better learning something slightly more complex like MMF and building one from scratch. It does take time, but you'll find it's worth it.

Having said that, I don't even know of software that would help making those kinds of games. I remember a platformer maker ages ago in the 90s, but it was largely terrible.

From what i understand you ned a program to create games, MMF can do all the above mentioned games, solitaire can get a bit tricky but all you listed can be done and there are alot of examples around of how to do the mentioned above. But yeah i suggest you getting MMF (Multimedia Fusion) www.clickteam.com

i once thought of making a game-making-application in MMF. Like only for a specific genre. That'd be useful for some n00bs that are too lazy to learn MMF . But i'd still recommend doing it the hard way. It'd be much more customizable that way. Learn klik

The hard way isn't terribly hard, so yeah. Agreement.

Thanks .

One more question, is the free MMF is permanently? Or is it a stupid free trial only?

It's a trial... although the 30 day limit doesn't always trigger (don't know if they fixed it) you still can't make standalone games.

Its not a full version because you cant turn your game into a stand alone version. Only you and other people with Multimedia fusion can play it.
You need to buy it to do that.

the one i have has been on my pc for well over 30 days, more like a year now and its still working.

I use The games factory anyway.

Yeah, for some reason Clickteam want you to pay for the software they've worked hard on. Funny old world, isn't it?

That was so cuttingly witty I think you'll need to sit in a cave and recharge for a few years.

there are tons of free software that you can use to make games.

i ALMOST fetch the links of the softwares i know.. but i think you should learn how to find them yourself, go to google and search for "game maker". Also, if you were smart, i would suggest blender3d or even Dev C++, but i recomend game maker for you.
Also for sprites.. i think you'll have.. wait, i feel like vomiting brb..

..ok back, anyway good luck with your arkanoid game. Remember, you have to start simple, cya!

Search in google for: game creation resources

There are literally hundreds of game making software

Although i still recommend that you use a the games factory or multimedia fusion. As for not wanting to pay for it, you could be a cheapskate and search for a crack or keygen in google...

Im not recommending that he get a keygen, Im just saying that its not that expensive to buy it and anyway, you are supporting it so they can come up with new software... the exact reason why i said he could be a cheapskate.
