Remember Sam & Max, stars of one of Lucasart's funniest adventures, that crime-solving duo of a smart alec dog and a hyperkinetic, homicidal bunny from Steve Purcell's twisted mind? They were supposed to have a sequel out two years ago that was cancelled at 90% completion by greedy, money-grubbing suits at Lucasarts. They then laid off the team responsible for that game, which then formed their own company Telltale Games. Purcell has recently partnered with Telltale, and begun posting pages of a new Sam & Max comic online, which interestingly displays text and animation when you roll over the panels with your mouse. The dialogue is as witty, hilarious, and violent as ever. Check it out.

I've been trying to read the comic but by the time each page comes out I've forgotten what's going on. It's great, I just wish it'd been released all at once.

Telltale games don't know how to make videogames. Try the Bone demo if you don't believe me. Sorry but this is doomed.

The Bone game is based on Jeff Smith's epic comic series Bone. I got the full game, because I liked the comics and I wanted to support Telltale. It's fun while it lasts, and manages to tell a story well in the engine, but the gameplay itself is a little too short and easy.

What? The game Bone is great, and I've played most Adventure game classics... Bone left me playing for more, while I couldn't because I can't buy stuff on the net and I'm principally against warez.
