I tried one properly for the first time a few days ago (late, I know) and the 3D effect and motion sensing (played Zelda) blew me away. Very impressed! My old DS Lite's hinge is gubbed so I'll definitely be getting one of these soon. //

Game selection isn't very large yet, but I've still had a lot of fun with it quite regularly and those free games are coming, so I don't regret buying one early at all. I always feel like it's missing something if the 3D is turned off.

My source is "some guy in a shop", so I would be prepared to bet anything on the back of that. I hear the 3DS has region protection. Is that true for some games or all? //
