I know there are many people here that are talented and helpful but I gotta' say when it comes to klick coding geniuses special mention has to be made of our man Pixelthief. The stuff he's able to do is just amazing to me, and better still he's not an arrogant elitist douche!
Recently I had described an enviornmental effect to PT that I wanted to use for Hasslevania 2 and not only was he really helpful in explaining how this could be acheived, he made an example for me as well. When I ran it the example was EXACTLY what I wanted!
So let's hear it for Pixelthief, the coding master!

I was thinking of making a pretentious indie game that had no game design principles but explored some controversial topic in a meaningless way, then submitting it to tigsource and flaming anyone who knocked it as 'not a game', then using it as backing for why MMF2 sux cuz its a high level language and real men should be programming in FORTRAN on their punchcards, and move out west and buy a segway and punching a kitten.
But then I changed my mind >:3
Much appreciated! Since I graduated, I've taken a year off to work on Asunder before I head into a career in games, so I've had lots of time to help other people with their questions and problems, on here, clickteam's site, and a few other programming joints. And hopefully, when this project is done, I'll have enough of a name for myself that a resume is unnecessary
Who the hell is Pixelthief?
I think a better question is "who is a pixelthief"

I whole heartedly agree that Pixeltheif is indeed TDC's best resident pixel criminal. I was trying to take some photo's the other day, when I noticed my camera was no longer taking photos at 14 mega pixels, as the resolution had dropped to a meagre 8 MP.
One can only presume the culprit, Pixeltheif - or perhaps I set the camera to a lower quality shot mode. Who knows?
On a more serious note, the help he provides on here (along with Sketchy - I must thank this guy too!) is awesome. Nice work dudes

They say when Pixel Thief jumps in water he doesn't get wet, the water gets pixelated.
Rumor has it that Pixel Thief can blink and change his screen resolution.
They say even though he had a MySpace acount back in the day, he was not friends with Tom.
Others say that if you insult Pixel Theif he will imagine you in a compromising position: and then it will be instantly created in photoshop. BY HIS MIND, DUDE!
Legend says that if Pixel Theif died the internet would seize to function.
When Pixel Theif views articles on TDC, the articles are actually scanning Pixel Theif for information on MMF2.
Ever wonder why Pixel Theif used TGF1 so long before switching to MMF2? To give the rest of us a head start. He should have given us 12 years at least...

Considering you post such things in an appreciation thread for someone else, all it really indicates is that you have horrible manners.
Meanwhile...Pixelthief's games are a lot of fun, and from the content of the articles he's posted, his appreciation and knowledge of the software is simply next-level. The fact he's willing to share and contribute not just his enthusiasm but also his knowledge helps keep this community going. He's one of a handful of Clickers here who people go to for help, and he definitely delivers (and that's only from the one's I've heard about).
Best of success on all your future projects Pixelthief, and you know we're all looking forward to Asunder.
