Did you know that the game Doki Doki Panic,

is probably based on this tale?

It's the same tale from an old legand book told about a giant radish that grew on a backyard of an old rich man.
The tale was very popular on the continent of Asia and probably in Japan as well.

There was also a Hebrew version of this tale that was very famous and being told to me and my friends as young children at the kindergarten... Nobody could figure this out, but Mario 2, A.k.a Doki Doki Panic is seems to be based on this old tale. This is the conecept of this game and here it was taken from.

Assigned proofs for this are:
The book at the begining of the game, where these two kids reads, is a book of old tales, which this story is taken from... The vallian, Wart is from another story.
The Family, All four people, Imagin, Lina, Mama, And Papa are the characters appearing in the story Репка.
...The Monkey in the preview... In some versions of the story, the giant carrot don't go out until the monkey come and help the Asian family.

Here is the story in Hebrew:

In each state the characters are abit different, sometimes it is an old farmer, and on the others it is a rich sultan as well as the carrot itself is sometime reffered to a turnip or a radish... This is often related to the country where the vegetables are grown... Some landscapes are fitting more for growth of carrots other than turnips.

This is probably what Doki Doki Panic is based off. The story, "Репка"

I have no idea what that 2nd video just said.

So I made my own translation based on what I think it's saying:

ahem...

There was once a small child whose feet became peanuts and whose right arm fell off and became this massive turnip. The child's family was so proud of this event that they danced for many days!

But then the turnip started to deflate. They tried blowing in up with air and giving it water, but it stayed flat. The Grandpapa said "This turnip just won't regain its original shape! It must die!" "Wait!" said the Grandmama "Let's kill the giant deflated turnip together! With the power of friendship! The Doggy can help too!" To this, the Grandpapa responded, "No it can't. It doesn't have opposable thumbs!"

And so they tried all day to run it over with their imagination friendship train, but it didn't work. So the Grandmama said "Quick! Let's summon a magical cat to help our doggy do a magical dance behind us to loosen the turnip up!" "Good idea!" the Grandpapa replied.

And then the doggy and magical kitty incanted the magic words... "Pajamas pajamas PAJAMAS! PAJAMAS!!!"
The family began to feel the magic working as they continued their friendship train when suddenly they heard a teeny tiny voice.

"WAIT!!!" Said a little mouse. "That kid is doing it wrong! Look! She's sitting on the turnip!" Grandpapa and Grandmama looked up, and sure enough, that little snot-nosed brat ditched their imagination friendship train pajamas spell to go sit on top of the turnip. This weighed the turnip down even more with all the child's metaphorical fatness.

So the Grandpapa and Grandmama pimp-smacked the little kid off the turnip and the little mousey helped the doggy and the magical kitty with reciting their spell's incantation. The Grandpapa, Grandmama, and little pimp-smacked kid all worked together now! "Pajamas pajamas! PAJAMAS! PAJAMAS!!!"

And then without any suddenly explosion or loud noise, the sad deflated turnip was reduced to a pile of ash! "Yay! The turnip is dead!" cried out the family in joy!

And so, the little mousey became a hero to us all.
