News posted 1st February, 2003 by ShadowCaster
Congratulations to this weeks GOTW winner: Tiles for his game Rumbeard the Pirate. Coming in second this week was Rythem Nation 2k3 followed closely by Alien Escape.

Next week's GOTW will feature:
Finger Stretcher, Harry FLY!, JetPack Justice - Episode One, Save the Meeklits!, Curling 2018, Brainless, Drachenhort, Adroids & Swordstar

Just a quick notice: when you reply to a DC mail I've sent you, please include some reference to what your talking about. I get many DC mails a day, it's hard to keep track of what I'm talking to any one individual about. I get heaps of DC mails that say things like "I tried that and it didnt work, what else can you suggest?" or "Thanks for the help" or "I cant see it anywhere" etcetera. And then when they reply and tell me what they're talking about, I've usually forgotton what the question was in the first place :D Try and make things easier by just reminding me briefly about the discussion topic. Dont be insulted if I dont remember you, it's just indication of how busy I can be with this site sometimes.

On a side note, I'm better at remembering someones avatar than I am their name, so when people change their avatar a lot it makes me even more confused. That's why I had to change my own avatar: someone started using my picture and I kept reading things they had written thinking I had said them :)

Finally, if you have anything you want me to mention in these weekly news articles (such as a new company site and so on) then send me a DC mail with the information. If you've created a community site, then you'll still, of course, get your own article, but for smaller news I'll add it to the end of my weekly GOTW posts (like I'm doing these messages now :) but in a different colour so they stand out.
