Daily Click Presents: Goldmine Week
News posted 22nd November, 2003 by nev`
Hi there everyone, Sejj here! Anyways, I was thinking to myself, trying to find something new that we could do here at The Daily Click, and gee golly, i've got it! What I decided to do is have a week long feature named TDC Presents: Goldmine Week. Basically, every day for 6 days, starting tommorow, I plan to dig up a great submission, in order from least greatest to greatest here at The Daily Click, and post a grande review each day. On the seventh day, I plan to review the Goldmine treasure; the #1 game here on The Daily Click, and the author will be interviewed ASAP right after the award is presented! So everyone, make sure you type up your opinions in the comments, tell me what you think of the new feature, and suggest some games!

ooooo goldmine week! Is it just me or do you have ashmans "Combover For President" rating?

I don't think you should brand an official "Best daily click game ever". I can't really pick one, myself. The rest of the goldmine idea is good though.

I think Eternal Daughter and Gunner 3 should be in the games

Nice Idea! Can't wait to read those reviews.. Will they just appear in the review section?

I would try and get Locked as a goldmine game, if it was downloadable :-/

Good idea... but finding a good game AND making a grande review about em in ONE day? Good luck with that. And chances are, you'll probably end up picking stuff from the GOTW section instead of actually finding real buried gold. But if it does work... I'd support it all the way...

Yes, they will appear in the review section. And also, I have planned this out for a while. THE GAME REVIEWS GO BY MY OPINION, SO FLAMING THIS IS POINTLESS. TSE will not be reviewed.

For god sakes, do NOT pick Super Ken Senshi. ;) I would recommend these games... Steambolt, Lost Valley, Fishhead 3, Elektroid 2, Megabattle Complete Also, some of these less-popular games may fit well; check them out sometime... Furballs, Monster Trainer Z, Star Angel, Minigame Madness 2 *wink wink* ;)

By the way, I LOVE this idea! This will give "old", unpopular games a chance to "come back from the dead". :D

Yeah, unless he picks a game that was posted on the front page five days ago, and only gives it a 6.8. I mean, it's not that old, and apparently, it's not that good. So, it was a good idea, but maybe more time should have been spent in preparing for it. Find some games that are like a year old, and that not everyone already thinks is awesome, but which are still good nonetheless. Old, good, and overlooked. That's what the goldmine should be all about. Then again, I guess it wasn't my idea in the first place.

Why won't TSE be reviewed, sejj? It's a great game. Besides that, goldmine week sounds cool.
