WHAT? WHY IS THE GOTW APPEARING TODAY?! First of all, calm down! Secondly, if you're confused I suggest you read my post below entitled "Too Slow, Chicken Marengo". If you're still confused, then sorry, it is not within my power to help you.

Congratulations Beppo for his original and imagionative game The Line Continues, the sequal to the classic game released December of Last Year. Worthy of a runner-up mention is KNPMASTER for Hurdler, it's hard having two fantastic games in the one week, wouldn't you agree?

Next Weeks GOTW Will Feature:
Midnight Jets, Penguin Dash 2 & Wonder Boy the Prophecy

There aren't too many games in the poll this week, so you have no excuse for not downloading them all before voting!

A Reminder to All: Neither myself, nor any of the other admins, accept requests for anything involving submissions to DC. That includes the GOTW, front page and pending list. If you have news from outside DC, then feel free to message one of the admins (you can message me about it if you like, but I'm quite busy most of the time and your suggestion might not make it to the front page as quickly as you like). So, please dont request us to do something other than that, and general site suggestions, we have rules as to what is accepted, and we all have lives outside of DC (Circy being an exception), so if you believe your game should be added to the GOTW or front page, or if you believe it should simply be accepted to the download list, BE PATIENT! We will get to it sooner or later.

Yes, it is hard having two good games in one week, but it's even harder to have no good games in one week. Errrrr... I pick... Penguuin Dash 2, only because it held my interest for the longest.

Excuse me, but why are there only three game choices for GOTW? There are several that were released between Penguin Dash 2 and Wonder Boy... I don't understand

In the last week I had considered games up to 3727. Since they weren't selected for last week's poll, they dont get a second chance. For this week I continued from that number and found only three games that I felt were (probably) the best to place in the GOTW. If you disagree that these werent the best from 3727 to 3743 (that also conform to the appropriate rules) then you shouldnt have voted in this poll: http://www.create-games.com/polls.asp?id=25

Well, thanks for clearing that up. I must have missed that poll. I didn't vote in it at all, but I'm assuming you meant I should have voted "no." However, I don't see that implies that those choice of games were the best. I'm guessing 'best' is not determined on thumbs up/down or reviews; that would be a little biased towards games realeased at the beginning of the week. I just don't see how a discontinued game that most people didn't like got precedence over a full one. I'm going to shut up now.

wat was the score?

Jeremiah: That's exactly my point, it IS subjective. But that's aparently the way the majority of DC-goers want it. I even said in my post when the poll started that if they vote for this there is no doubt going to be complaints when people think a game should have been in when it wasnt, and vice versa. It's based on a number of things, which I've mentioned many times both on the main page and in the forums, not to mention all the private messages. Oh well, like I always say, try to please everyone and no one will like it. Either way, I find it strange how everyone in the forums has said how stupid the GOTW is because it doesnt mean anything, but everyone's quick to complain when it doesnt go the way they want.

Yeah, I like at most 5 games on the GOTW list, that way I don't have to play like 10 games in one week just so I make a fair vote.
