Andi's Classic Click Goldmine #1 - Brafud the Brave
News posted 18th April, 2005 by Andi Smith
I've been promising it for sometime, and now it's finally time for Andi's Classic Click Goldmine - a sort of semi-sequel to Andi's TDC Goldmine. "What's the difference?" I hear you scream? Well, Classic Click Goldmine will cover games that are either a) Too old for TDC or b) A crazy admin has deleted in a spit of rage (*Andi looks at Shadowcaster because, well, he can) or c) it's not online anymore.

I'm not going to create download slots for these games on TDC (as the game would be credited under my name), but if the author would like to re-add the game, I will add the link to this news post. Otherwise, just use the news comments to post your thoughts.

So, where to start? Let's begin with some dwarf action!

Brafud the Brave (released July 27th 2000 - created with TGF)
Set in the completely fictional town of Neiklot, the Dwarves are mining when the Orcs come along and beat them up (or at least, they will on older computers.. thanks to TGF's independent machine speed option, the Dwarves will get beaten up before the Orcs arrive on some computers). It's up to you to save the kingdom by building ladders to climb the castle walls while the Orcs try their hardest to keep you from entering. Classic stuff.

Download the game here.

I appear to have lost the font that this game uses, which makes all the text look old. If anyone sees old font text, could you send me the font and I'll include it with the ZIP.

Does anyone here have the original Brother Island (not the remake that replaced lots many backgrounds with gradients), Beware of the Aliens, or any other of Stollesofts old games? And I just noticed BOTA is listed on IMDB :O http://imdb.com/title/tt0197291/
