Well, it's over; votes are tallied, and we've gotten our results. MiniRPG Winners 1st - Snerlin 2nd - Phizzy 3rd - Zapper Well, there it is, the top 3. I'd like to thank everyone who participated in the competition, as we got almost as many entries as the Christmas competition, and I'm glad to say that most of these games are well above what we got for those competitions in terms of quality. You may all now make Circy's dream come true and submit your games for download so we can have a lively GOTW. Tweet

Need to put together a mailing/announcement email list for these contests. That way, when you DO get around to starting it we can know without lurking at the site. Not that i'm against the lurking, I just can't do it all weekend. But an email now, that's great - I can have that thing page my phone wherever am I. Ah, cellphones.

It was only the trees, dirt, and a rejected grass tile I borrowed, lol. So really the majority of the sprites are original. Only you see a lot of the trees at the start so... I'm gonna release the finished version of the RPG by the end of the weekend or whenever. The finished version will have a lot more stuff. Anyways, glad everyone liked my game!

Yey I came third. Im kinda disappointed and happy at the same time. I think I'll post my game as a download on the website tomorrow sometime, but it'll just be the same version. OK I have two suggestions- 1. Tell us the date and time of the comp in far in advance so we can be ready, and then post the topic on the second it starts. 2. One of the admins- Please release a comp. pack of the RPGs that placed. Thanks .

I don't want to release a comp package, cause now it's up to the authors to release them as they see fit, I will soon be taking down the links from before, as the bandwidth is pretty bad. Ok, you obviously weren't around when I started this, the comp was a spur of the moment thing; but I did, in fact, post the topic the second it started. I've given fair warning on the forums about the next comp, if you didn't see it, well, not my fault. The problem with this comp is it's gonna be a comp that I don't think many people would enter, cause it's going to be a (relatively) strange one.
