Clickzine: Open For Business!
News posted 18th April, 2006 by The Chris Street
Yes, that's right guys, after much hard work, the Clickzine has relaunched its online magazine. The first issue features, amongst others, reviews of I'm OK, Lyle In Cube Sector and previews of MSD2 and The Core. There's also an interview with TDC founder Rikus Kras (*bows*) and a not quite sane interview chatlog between Radix and Jon Smeby.

Please give your comments here. If the first issue proves to be popular then we shall continue with it.

Wow!! Great first issue! Can't wait for the next! I hope this carries on, its brilliant!

I agree wholeheartedly. Great articles to read, nice presentation. Is this a monthly release or..?

Posted by The Chris Street 18th April, 2006

Yah, monthly. Hopefully.

Thanks for posting Circy
If I'm honest, there isn't as much content as I would have hoped to get in this issue - but a lot of the team have been busy with exams, school .etc so I hope that what we have done is good enough. Thanks again to everyone who helped, and sorry to the people whose games we didn't have time to review/preview.

Thanks for the review Flava!

THAT IS AWSOME!!! I'll write something for the next issue...

"...the old folk should give more constructive comments to somebody who is just trying ideas out."

I completely agree with that Radix...

Yay! Our unholy creation is released upon the masses!!!

Posted by Ski 18th April, 2006

Nice. Ill probably submit a preview of my latest game for next time...

Posted by Flava 18th April, 2006

Yup any previews will be welcome - afterall they are harder to get ahold of than reviews.

Posted by RapidFlash 18th April, 2006

One minor suggestion: I recommend adding more to the awards section of the review. Don't just have "GOTW #whatever"

Posted by Keatontech! 19th April, 2006

What other awards have click games won?

Posted by Tigerworks 19th April, 2006

Very very good, nice design too. Keep it up!

Posted by Aptennap 19th April, 2006

this is brilliant!

Posted by Assault Andy 19th April, 2006

I've been watching its progress in the private forums. Great job guys!

Posted by Broomie 19th April, 2006

Rikus knows the score. Adventure games are the best genre, all the others are absolute shite. I'd play Monkey Island over Doom anyday.

Posted by BeamSplashX 19th April, 2006

This is fresh with a capital eleven.

What?

Posted by DaVince 19th April, 2006

I was supposed to make the minigame for this (Vitalized), but as mentioned before a lot of people were busy with school, exams etc. including me.

Next issue you'll see an extra long game coming for the ClickZine! Maybe even two!

Posted by Klikmaster 19th April, 2006

The "editor's picks" paragraph is near identical to the first paragraph on the cover, I don't like reading the same thing twice - in fact, the content page doesn't do much at all.

Apart from that I like it so far, the design is nice and layed out in nice magazine fashion, the content is good.

The more sections the better, that is what will keep the Clickzine interesting, so I await the comic and other upcoming sections...

You need to include buzz words on the "cover".

Nice job, guys. Nice to see someone puts so much effort to a click zin.
