Happy Almost New Year!
News posted 27th November, 2006 by Rikus
Greetings fellow clickers, its me your long lost admin, hehehe:) Things have been crazy busy around here but i do still check the site from time to time. In any event i'm planning to do my yearly update on the Click TimeLine soon. If you know someone or where part of some of the big things that happened this year please do let me know so i can add it to the brand new "2006" page. (You can do so by just replying to this news post) Also if you think i missed some stuff in the past year this would be perfect timing to let me know so i can update those pages at the same time. I'll try and post some more in the future. For now i wish you all a great December!

Hail Rikus, King of daily click!

Maybe one of the most important news this year was

27th July, 2006
Darran Baker: 1984 - 2006

In my opinion.

Posted by Fanotherpg 27th November, 2006

MMF2 this.. And could it be informations from national communities or International?

Posted by Superfunk 27th November, 2006

Here are my suggestions:

Release of Lyle in Cube Sector
Abandoning of Mina of the Pirates
Release of Noitu Love and the Army of Grinning Darns
Release of TGF2 and MMF2
And MAYBE the end of FAIND.com

Posted by Silveraura 27th November, 2006

MMF2 was June 2006, this year.

Sorry Reno, it's unforgivable please forgive me!

Let's say:
The releases of MMF2 and TGF2;
The death of a fellow klikker, our buddy Darran aka Death Reaper X;
And nothing more I can think of right now.

Definitely mention Darran.

Also:

Darkside Adventures release

Paroxysm - one of the surprise potential hits of the year.

MMF 2 released, along with Clickteam website redesign. Most importantly MMF2 contains some AWESOME new MIDIs.

Click Convention 2006 announced for September 1st 2007

TDC Christmas Competition - Tile Based Theme.

Mina abandoned.

Noitu Love instead.

Lyle In Cube Sector.

Clickzine returns in blog format (after a failed first attempt at a magazine)

Total Klik returns.

Klik-Me gets a redesign.

Chris Davis FINALLY releases Spud's Quest.

Derek Yu (Thompsonsoft) release I'M OK for Jack Thompsons "Penny Arcade" challenge (where he would pay $10,000 to a charity if someone would make a game where you would kill game developer companies - he renegaded on this met challenge afterwards by wussing out, claiming that "oh, actually, it was for a commercial developer, this challenge". He's a moron.

The New Satan Sam is released by Jay White.

Treasure Tower by David Newton is released to mass acclaim and screaming girls everywhere chanting "We Want Newton! We want Newton!"

Within A Deep Forest is released - an original stylish platformer, earning a GOTW and lots of positive praise.

Arthur Lee (Podunkian) announces The Underside - a Cave Story-esque game that is rather good, but unreleased yet.

Skyhammer abandoned.

Klik-Me manages to make it a whole year without a single review!

Pete leaves TDC to move onto other things

Paul Jeffries anticipated "Zoom Man" never sees the light of day, due to a laptop theft, which is a personal tragedy (I was so looking forward to it.)

Andrew Mathers releases Gwerdy Chat - a specialised Clickteam forum based chatroom program - which crashes MMF2 apps while they are running. Coolness.

FOUR blackguards break away from society by announcing a competitor to MMF2 called Construct. BOO HISS etc.

Hey You have forgotten to mention Ketchup Kamel Or Prask... Simply the two best games this year...

Now now, don't forget the notorious TAB bug in Gwerdy Chat which makes my life painful all too often

Ah, it was pretty awful to read about what had happened to Darran. I remember talking to him at DALNet channel #k&p many years back. Seemed like a nice guy. Somehow comes to my mind that he used pretty often the "" smiley, eh. Might be wrong though with this (very) irrelevant point.

DaVince left the Black Wizards

As much as I'd like to press on about my...not so important game, its probably not worthy to even mention about it. But still, theres so few Click games (That I've seen) thats done multiplayer for up to the most of 4 players on a screen.

Anime rally is the name of the game and...I just hope people appreciate it (Maybe someday I can quit talking about this game and...yeah.)

Construct should get a mention. Maybe also something about their lack of security. (source code being leaked etc)

Posted by Joe.H 29th November, 2006

Is construct even still being made?
