A new game is currently in the works by Andr00N. This game resembles Knytt rather well so I am sure it will be getting a lot of attention. There are some nice colourful graphics on show, supported by a great soundtrack by Johan! You can check out an early gameplay video here.
Actually I rather like the look of this. It's got a (IMO) better visual style, minus the clouds and trees, than a Knytt game. And the boxes look to add a bit of puzzle to it. Thumbs up from me. So long as it has more to do than just running/climbing/evading.

I am still working on that game so there is a lot to work on (mostly because I am also making Knytt Online)
At Adam's reply: "Lol, look at the trees ;__; " I am still working on the nature and the tree will be using the physics extension so no need to worry
