New Download: ButaVX: Justice Fighter
News posted 6th March, 2011 by OMC
This game, like grandmas around the world, is (no, not perfumed) pretty darn cool. Hand-drawnedness, tight TGF2 coding action, brilliant cutscenes, and good old RPG squashed into a box of whoa.

That's my description of ButaVX: Justice Fighter, a piece of gameplay-infused art submitted by Nekomura Games. ButaVX is on a quest to retrieve his stolen ball and obtain the "Sword of Justice att+10". I challenge you to go download the game, play it, and beat my adjectivial prevaluation in the comments.

Glad you guys liked it!!

"tight TGF2 coding action"
Actually some parts of the code are a total mess, due to a TGF2/MMF2's bug that randomly "unglobalizes" global objects... Near the end of the development the only solution was to copy/paste certain events in other frames P (don't do it at home kids!)

Love this game... especially the graphics style. Really well done and with loads of talent.

I've been doing that forever, you mean you're NOT supposed to do it that way?

TGF tend to corrupt your game when you do that. I am scarred for life, I'm not copying events in MMF2.
