Clickteam Answers Your Questions...
News posted 31st July, 2011 by Strife

...Or, technically speaking, will answer your questions at the 2011 Click Convention. ^_^ With just twenty days to go, quite a buzz is stirring up on the Clickteam forums, and the staff is currently accepting questions that will be answered at the convention itself.

One of the hottest topics appears to be the highly-anticipated sequel to Multimedia Fusion 2, Multimedia Fusion 3. What sorts of new features can be expect from this title? Will it have greater support for 3D plugins? It's anyone's guess at this point, so why not ask them about it?

Hoping that it doesn't have a seperate alpha channel in picture editor. Better bilinear support. Being able to zoom/rotate layers during runtime. Subevents. And "for each object" loops.

Don't have an account at clickteam so I am posting it here after reading the entire thread.

I like a global event editor and the inclusion of more video and especially audio formats.

Also read a lot of requests about a decent scripting language, perhaps called ClickScript.

It would allow you to write the click clicked events in text. Just like the flash IDE which has scripting and licking together your code.

And of course the inclusion of IF and ELSE and IF ELSE.

Will MMF3 be forward compatible with Jamagic?

I don't care if it's compatible with any of the previous products, as long as Clickteam continues to provide bug fixes to MMF2 after MMF3 is released.

Will MMF3 come with a box of snacks, preferably called clicky snacks?

^ That would be so awesome. I'd have mine bacon flavored, or possibly sour cream and onion.
