Project Overview  
While I was working on another project, I hit a snag or two. Although that was fixed, I started working on this in the meantime. While Brawlfest is my main concern right now, until I get more user submissions this is what I'm working on.

Thirty years ago, the Mage Wars separated the world in half. The dark lord Xilidar ruled over the kingdom of Soleil. He was power hungry and emotionless; cruelty almost tangible. He researched Demons and Spirits, learning the nature of their powers, their majik. He trained his priests in the art of combat and waged war against the people of Findel. As a last resort, the king called upon the most gifted of his populous and taught them the Dark Art. The war lasted a decade, and ended with the defeat of lord Xilidar at the hands of Lind, a Findelian general. After the bloodshed stopped, the king had purged all of the darkness but Lind's, as he wanted it to keep his kingdom safe. He died of a heart attack four years later. His son was born on the same day.

As his mother died in labor, Zelgaroth was taken under the care of the king. The last wizard led a dull, uneventful life. It wasn't until his sixteenth birthday that whispers of Xilidar's return surfaced.

You play as the young mage Zelgaroth as his epic story unfolds. The entire world is seamless (so far) and all combat is handled with majik. Full save functionality is enabled (thanks global store X object) and all gfx are original. I'm also doing my own voiceovers...

Here's what I've done in the past two days:

- all gfx and dialog for Findel

- All character anims but shooting in three directions.

- complete texture and level map for the crypt dungeon

- complete storyline

- finished majik mechanic design

- fully functioning save with six save points

-leveling system that lets you choose character progression

- full movement engine

-load screen and main menu

- six custom voice recordings for sound fx

More to add:

- finish Zelgaroth's anims

- finish entire map

- add instanced dungeons for easier ai design and shorter load times

- start/finish enemy design

- co-ordinate boss battles

- create attack sounds / shot gfx

- implement potion inventory

- other small stuff
