Project Overview  
Preview Im not 100% if this flies here, but I have switched over from various click products to actionscript, using Adam Atomics AWESOME flixel library. I actually started doing this shortly before mmf2 got its flash support on, but havent gone back for a number of reasons, those reasons being 1.Coding raw action script is way more applicable to other languages, and not really any harder then using MMF2 to do anything more interesting then a basic game, and 2.Not spending money on updates for a product that already cost money makes more sense. (Everything Im using is 100% no strings attached free, hurrah.)

So, that being said, this is the immediate fruits of my labor.
This game plays a lot like pacman, if pacman was a gravity bending platformer. Give it a try, the current version is stable, and totally playable.

So, it went public today, and now has a little over 3k plays, earning me a net total of... 2$ and some change. Thats actually kinda cool, seeing as I wasnt expecting to make anything off of this, but Im thinking Im gonna put in an option for people to buy credits for a quarter.
I also added a logo, and more music, and tweaked the code a little so tea is less likely to spawn near the ghost spawners, because that seemed a little cruel. It still needs more music, and Im thinking about changing it so crumpets dont spawn within some area around the ghost spawners, but I think ima call this a success...

So, some stuff. First off, before I woke up today, I get 1.3k unique hits on this game, and an E-mail from the manager of 4399.com.
Is that remotely normal for something that isnt even finished, and has no advertising or distribution? (I mean, its on Mochi games, but no other portals to my knowledge...)
I also worked on it a little bit sense last I posted this. The text no longer gets weird AA applied to it, much more legible, I tweaked the hitbox on the player so you dont get stuck in corners so much, added a level multiplier to the score to encourage people to advance levels and not just hunt ghosts, added a combo system that increases your score if you eat strings of ghosts, 1 new song, that plays from level 5 onwards, and a scoreboard. Next up is a logo, and more music. Oh, and I should probably throw in a copyright...
