WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?
It's a Pac Man clone featuring Father Ryan O'Graham of the Dirty Marmaduke Flute Squad. Guide Ryan through the graveyard, picking up nachos and Raven Beer. Occasionally, you can see flying guitars; pick those up for bonus points. As time goes on, the zombies become faster and more ravenous. Try to make the highest score.

i do believe that FRVTZ has reached gold master status.

it will most likely be posted here and other places on the internet by the end of this weekend.
final testing

the swf file is posted, and final testing go-rounds are being done (through my close circle of friends who happen to enjoy computer games).

if anyone here would like to do some testing for me, please notify me via private message.

thanks!

...that's my target date. most of that day is free for me, so putting the final touches and polish on the coding, sounds, artwork, and flash implementation is the goal.

i have no idea how to implement anything in flash other than "export as a flash application." the mochi extensions are a bit too challenging for me to decipher at the moment; i've not seen any tutorials anywhere in the limited time i've had to search for them. i'm sure this is simply absent-mindedness on my part, and i'm missing obvious clues.

and html code to post it to a website? hopefully it can be posted on my blog without a problem. we'll see.

nonetheless, i'm aware of my penchant for stalling when i try to implement something new. but this game must be released soon. it works, the intro cinematic is done...everything is in serviceable condition. online high scores and stuff like that simply needs to wait for a future project.

the longer i dwell on this one project, the more stalled i am on future software projects. although i wanted to delve into the mochi adverts and everything for this go round, i lack the spare time right now to make it happen. no biggie. there will be plenty other projects to do where flash (and adverts) can be included.
flash exporter has been purchased

...so now it's a matter of installing it, making sure everything works, then exporting FRVTZ as a flash app. i am incredibly pleased with this development.

i'm imminently curious as to how the mochi advertisement stuff is implemented. of course, i should be able to find tutorials or how-to's somewhere out there, if only on the clickteam forums.

tonight after the day job is done, i'll implement the music files, finish up some graphical bits for the bonus stage, and dive headfirst into flash implementation.
