Welcome to the world of DEEPSIDE! Even in the age of technology, the life of a sailor is always exciting. The seafloor is littered with treasures waiting to be found by brave explorers. But in this realm of heavy competition, sometimes even the best of the best need some help. The answer: Corporate-sponsored Piracy!
They give you the ship, and they give you the location- you just have to go there and bring back anything valuable that you can find!
You can choose which area you want to explore, from nice coastal regions to seemingly unending undersea caves.
Use your mini-sub to navigate the depths, and when you find something interesting, tow it back- it may be worth a fortune! Or... it may be totally worthless! You will have to be careful with the delicate items you find, as a rough ride can leave them damaged and lower their value.
EVERYTHING is up to you!
You decide where to go next, what you think is worth towing back, and when to leave. At any time you can simply return to your ship, cash in your earnings, and move on to the next area. The expedition is over when you have explored every hotspot on the map.
It's not about winning or losing... it's about how much money you make!
However... it is not as easy as it seems...
Not only are the worlds of the sea vast, they are dangerous!
Pits of sand will bog your treasures down, rocks will block your path, and monsters rarely seen by those above will challenge you to use more than just quick reflexes... you will need to use that treasure in your head as well!
Buy new equipment with the money you earn- weapons, tools, engines... all of which will aid you in getting past the obstacles and puzzles of the deep.
You can play it safe- and leave when things get too scary...
OR
You can take that chance and go on... farther into the abyss... However: should you make a mistake... like DYING, you will LOSE EVERYTHING! It's all up to you.
The greater the risk, the greater the reward!
