Catching up

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I made a mistake of getting acquainted with an MMO game. D: It's been eating up like 80% of my free time.

Today I took a break though, and added a few new things. I also added some other stuff before getting entangled in that darn MMO game.

I only have one screenshot to show though, of a new enemy. Mad Skulls are your average flying skulls that do kamikaze charges at you when they see you. Kind of like aggressive versions of the earlier Blade Bats. A regeneration spell is also in effect in the screenshot. Nothing spectacular, just a spell that gives you 1 HP every two seconds for a while. The HP for MP ratio is better than in Healing Glow spell though, so it has its uses. Two other spells have also been added, but I'll get back to those some other time.

Unique weapon drops are now also in place. In addition to the randomly generated weapons, you can now occasionally get a unique one instead. Unique weapons have generally rarer bonuses, or more bonuses than what you could normally find in a weapon. As an example, 'Jack of all Blades' is a one-handed sword, which has +1 to all four stats. A random weapon can only have bonuses to three different stats. Not a particularly powerful weapon, but we're still in early game, so... For now I've only added two unique weapons, but more will follow on regular basis.

Let's hope that dang MMO doesn't eat up too much of my time from now on. >.<

Nice update ! Mad Skulls are well made. I like that idea of Unique weapon . Did you take "Jack of all Blades" from Fable (the game) ?

What's the MMO's name ? Good luck with your project !

Sounds great!

Maybe put mods on uniques that don't normally spawn on those item types (like Diablo 2 does). Example: Extra damage on a piece of armor, shield blocking on a dagger, stuff like that.

Nah, it's not from Fable, just something I came up with, from "jack of all trades" saying. ;p

The MMO is Black Prophecy. Playing on the English server as 'HitmanN'.

I will likely add some stuff like that. For now, the only thing not available in normal weapons is increased damage modifier. "The Splitter" large sword for instance has that.
