Many of you (actually three) have stated that the graphics in the tomb needed more contrast, so I've decided to start this topic to consult the public on various graphical decisions in the game.
For the first one, the new tomb colors:
And for a second one, the transition from dirt to cement:
New third image! Pick the tileset you think looks best.
It'd be really nice if anyone who reads this would comment on the above, it'd help the development process.
It looks alright either way to me.
What's the difference anyways ?
One grass has a jaggy edge and one is flat ?
The third one looks more rounded on the edges ?
Where's the comparison photo for the 1st one ?
I wouldn't worry about detailing the graphics until the entire game was complete. Just use a basic fleshing for them
with the size you want (collisions and jumps are factors) and basic colours then build upon that later on.
