Just curious, but I have noticed a few similarities between this and another project of yours, The Bubble. Is this game what The Bubble has morphed into? Or are you still working on both projects? The Bubble's progress meter hasn't moved much (or at all) since I favourited it.
In any case, I think that out of the two projects I favour this one. I love Roguelikes or anything with randomly generated levels and the idea of a Platformer/Dungeon Crawler hybrid has got me pretty excited. Looks great so far, HitmanN!

Well, yes, and no.
Basically, I haven't worked on The Bubble at all, mostly because I learned so many new coding tricks since then, that I'd now need to redo the whole engine to feel satisfied. However, I did loan some ideas and features to Twisted Tower though. I haven't completely abandoned The Bubble as a concept, but the stuff I made for it is mostly obsolete, and I'd have to start from scratch if I did resume working on it.
As a whole, these are two different kinds of games though. The Bubble would've been more Metroidvania genre, with very little random generation, while Twisted Tower is, like you implied, a more Roguelike experience, and just about everything outside the story and scripted events is randomized in some way.
I'm working on Twisted Tower almost daily, so things are actually moving along nicely with this one.
And thanks for the compliments.

Glad to hear! As for the compliments, you're welcome. I only wish I didn't focus so much on my question that I forgot to pay you more! I'm really looking forward to this game and it's rare to see something this deep take a tangible shape on here. The prospect of this becoming an actual game is looking pretty good, I commend you for all your hard work so far. Carry on!
