You are a welder, and you try to cook enemies and kick them toward the walls, or into the Points Pay-Out Machines.

This isn’t a bad game, really. Here are my thoughts:

Presentation:

I’m not sure what the story of this is yet, so I’ll just put this to rest. No annoying unskippable start-up screens though.
6/10

Gameplay:

This is mainly flawless. It uses the Built-In Platform Movement, but I don’t care because Jason set the floors to “Platform”, so you don’t stop dead after landing (MMF Feature). It’s a tad buggy, such as when an enemy hits you but not the flame; you get hurt, and the flame stays there so you can’t move left or right, so you have to press F2. Also, for some reason, I killed the marching kitty last on level 2-3, and it didn’t seem to take me to the next level. :/ Odd. Other than that, it’s fun!

7/10

Graphics:

The Wacky Welder has a pretty good graphic, and fairly fluid, but the flame is a little odd looking. The rest look like sprite rips. Especially the backgrounds, but they fit, and that’s all that counts.

7/10

Sound and Music:

I love the music! Jason himself composed it, and it’s pretty good too. The sounds are from the MMF 1.5 CD, and are pretty good quality.

9/10

Lastability:

It’s a little big for a demo, which I like. It’s fun too. No secrets or any of that sort, so it has a high value. This is only a beta though, and because Jason is going to have maybe over 100 levels when it’s finished, I’ll give even higher marks.

9/10

Overall:

If you like frantic arcade fun, download this! It’s good for just a beta. Let’s hope Jason will work hard on this!
