Presentation

The start doesn't really help you know how to play the game. You quickly make your monster once you hit "new monster". So I didn't even realize I needed to feed the thing for the first 3 minutes I was playing the game.

Gameplay

If you have played Monster Rancher, then you'll know exactly how to play this game. Its a great game where you train your monsters then sign them up for tourneys to fight. And the tourneys allow you to gain money to train your monsters furthur before they reach the death age of 131 turns.

The training itself has alot to do with the skill of the trainer him/herself. In the training levels you can basically control how good your monsters do in the training areas, and whether you gain 1 life or 5 life from an exercise. Thats something I always wanted in Monster Rancher, and I think it made this game alot better that you had some interaction with the monster's actual training.

Graphics

Look nice, but also looked ripped. But the problem with me is that there are no animations. Just little portraits that stand there.

Sound/Music

The "gotten hit" sound and 2 midi files are all this game has I believe, but they go good with the game and don't make you feel like quiting.

Lastability

Well, I downloaded this at 1 AM. Then played until 2:20 AM. Woke up and played it from 9 AM to 10 AM. Yes I liked the game, but some other people may not like such things.

Overall

This is a great stragegy game to play and I hope the final verson comes out soon.

Good job

PROBLEMS

Some of the fighting is completely messed up at times ex of my fighting outcomes -miss.miss.miss.miss.miss.miss.miss.miss.hit.miss.miss.miss.hit.miss.miss.miss.miss.miss.miss

That wouldn't bother me as much if it was against big monsters. But the fact is that ussually only occurs against monsters smaller than you. I have to wait 5 minutes for my monster to hit the little dinker once so I can win the battle sometimes. While I've lost to a 25 life monster with lower stats in everything and I had 400 life. Because I miss.miss.miss.miss.miss

There is also a problem with not being able to see the damage you deal. It comes out in white, on the head of opponents. That would be fine if most of them weren't white themselves.
