I have to say that I was prejudiced against this game due to its brutal attack on the English language in the title, but having played it I have to admit that it's not all that bad.

First advantage: It doesn't come with an installer, it looks like people are getting the message about that. A decent Readme is provided, detailing the controls, enemies and backstory, along with a few known bugs.

It's strange how these coincidences happen. After the company logos and a slightly dodgy "Groovy" sample (taken from Evil Dead itself, I presume), the title music was "Vampire Killer" from Castlevania 4. I had never heard it until someone asked me to remix it for them the other day. Oh well, anyway. After that there's a scrolling story section, which doesn't have an auto-skip at the end of it so if you let it go off the screen you're left staring at the background for all eternity. Or until you press Space, of course.

The graphics are pretty simple, but they do the job. Some animation is better than others - the character's walking animation isn't the best of them, but the author has clearly spent more time on the "deadite" deaths. Sound is mostly speech, possibly from the film.

Glitches are common, though, particularly on the sidebar (well, topbar if you like) while scrolling. Also, I found myself stuck in a black door the first time I tried it, and when you restart the game your ammo and health don't appear to be reset.

Perhaps it's just me, but I couldn't work out how to get very far at all. What I can say about the game is this: Despite all the glitches at this stage (which may well be ironed out by the time it's released fully), I can't think of any better game which allows you to explode zombies by smacking them with a spade.
