This game is god-awful, lets make no bones about it, the thing that buggered me the most was the backdrops but here's Dr.Sardonic and another 'Daily Klik $hit' anecdote....

Krappy Klone - a review by Dr. Sardonic (OBE)

The ingrediants of this game were simple. Steal splendid backdrops, shrink down your the main character so that he's difficult to control then add badly paintbrush-drawn platforms and indistinguisable enemies.

In popular games there is always a threat of dying and losing a life. The danger in the beginning of this tedious game is falling onto the forest floor. Hmmm... not exactly boiling hot lava, shark infested water or an edgy cliff. Moving on, this game seems to have an odd feeling, like everything has been shrunk. The forests/woods in the background are unproportionate to the main character, its like "honey i shrunk the kids" only less entertaining.

I enjoyed the original Klonoa on my playstation. The cheery music, the easy gameplay, the colorful graphics. These are things that this remake can never achieve. I did, however, like the bugs. I recommend jumping underneath one of those pokemon reject enemies, you'll remain stuck onto him for a consirably long period. Cool huh? Or how about this, try jumping on one of those "friendly enemies" instead of transporting you, you slip off.

To conclude, this was a waste of my time, a waste of the creators time and ultimately a waste of space. I'd have rather seen the "mega-bytes" being better spent in creating a flash animation of a dancing teletubby.

3/10
