An action platformer which parodies old klik&play classics can't go wrong. This is the proud sequel of Ele(c)ktroid:

*Presentation
The graphics and animation are great, really adds to the comic value of this game. Graphical effects are top notch with all ricochets and explosions. Cut scenes could have been worked with some more, though...
The soundtrack while not original is well picked out and spans a width from melodic Mega Man rock to classic jazz standards which fit the mood of the game very well.

*Playability
A steady custom platform engine that works at most times. Some minor quirks, like shooting upwards-left doesn't always work, don't subtract from the game play value. Some missed obstacle backgrounds and jumping out of the screen, but nothing big to whine about.
One minor flaw, though (again the cut-scenes); as they are strictly time-based chances are you're missing out on some lines.

*Lastability
Huge, well-designed levels with many alternative routes adds to replay value. And there are plenty, at least for a click game. The difficulty (next up) makes sure you won't finish this game in one sitting (unless you're bored to death).

*Difficulty
The games biggest flaw lies in its difficulty level. Sometimes sniping your way through hordes of enemies is the only way to survive. And although the Sniper Mode(tm) is an original and fun touch it gets repetetive with time and the feeling of action gets lost sometimes. If you get over the having to use sniper all the time the difficulty level is pretty decent. A lot thanks to the many health refills scattered throughout the stages. But a question; should they really be necessary?

*Overall
Fun game, both thanks to game play and humor, and a nice one as well. You'll probably come back for more E2 after you finish it (I know I will).
