Okay, how do I do the following things?
- Let the program look for specific words or characters.
- Select them and give them a different colour / bold style.
- Go back to the point where the user was typing in the box.
I'm making a syntax highlighting system (so different words/characters automatically get different colours/styles for recognition), and I need this.
Could this be done while the player is typing (like: when RTF changes > open group 'word check'), or should I create some kind of seperate button/event to let it happen (so that the third option is not executed)?
Also, do I need extensions? And which extensions work best for this?
