It looks like its time for ANOTHER "SHOOT PEACH!"
The first was a great achievement, and we're quite keen to create sequal to it.
The problem is, that at S.U.M.G.O.O games, we need help!
We'd like it, if you gave us suggestions or ideas for the second game, and even if you could send us an e-mail, that would be fantastic.
With the the decline of 'Arthurs Paradox', we are keen to make a new game.

"The first was a great achievement"
No offence, but where did you get this piece of information? I understand that games that are fun for you and your friends are wonderful, yes. How ever, it just happen to be that the game was not that "great achievement" you claim that it was, here on DC. If you want a suggestion, please just try to work on a completely different game, and don’t settle for something because it looks half way decent. If something is wrong, like something just doesn’t seem right and your not sure how to make it better, upload a demo or some screenshots and ask us in the board, I'd be happy to help you improve an original idea, granted your willing to take the first step and work hard at improving. I'm sure the same goes with many other people here as well. Good luck, farthest thing from my mind here is to scare off a newbie, but I do want to make sure you understand where I (and many other people) am coming from.

PS: Make sure your friends understand that when they help test your game, they can’t get flattered by the fact that you can design a game. 9x out of 10 this is the cause for most crappy indie games. People make them, show them off to friends, and the friends are baffled by the fact that they have a friend who can design games, regardless to how crappy they are. This is the main cause for over-hype in early indie game developers, so try to avoid it.

You act as if you are a large company S.U.M.G.O.O, your not, your an indie developer with friends who tell you that your games are good. Stop using we, and dont make a sequal to a crappy fangame that isnt worth a squal!

Meh, Story of my life. Back when I came here... whoot. Look at Tanooji Dash. I mean, it didn't suck, but it really wasn't good. But my friends are all "WHOO YOUSS MADE A GAME, YOUSSA KING OF DEH CAFETERIA AND OTHER RAND00M P|_4C3Z!!!!"

your friends actually speak leet?

I think the problem with shoot peach 2 is that it's got almost no potential. It's never going to be good if you start with a name like that. You're now limited to shooting peach.

Try again with an original idea that puts gameplay first, and try to use your own graphics. If you're no good at graphics, keep them simple. Plan stuff out before making the game. Design some characters and a story, and gimmicks you may use.

At least put some time and effort into the thing.

I think to make it a world wide hit you would have to put mario in it and then go back in time and release it before Nintendo did.

Also I think I saw some instructions on the net for a time machine but if you want a prebuilt one then I am sure you can get one off of ebay for less than $1,000.

Whilst I do agree that the first installment was a great achievement, I can't help but feel that a sequel would somewhat spoil things and detract from the awesomeness of the original 'Shoot Peach'. You made a one hit wonder, feel very proud. Leave it at that, quit while you're ahead.

I personally would like to see the series branch off into all sorts of different scenarios and themes, yet whilst retaining the simple originality of Shoot Peach which we all know, love and revere.

Yours Sincerely,

Timmy Weinerbutt

Where an Eidolon, named night,
On a black throne reigns upright,
I have reached these lands but newly
From an ultimate dim Thule
From a wild clime that lieth, sublime,
Out of space
Out of time.
