Until later on, I will have to bump this topic. People who are interested in spriting deserve to know something until we've finished designing the website. Sorry if it is bothersome to see the topic being bumped, but the project needs attention right now, as we do have the ability to make this MMORPG huge, but sofar only 1 spriter. Wouldn't it be a shame to let a good MMORPG go ruined because noone knew that they could help us out?

Funny you posted just now.. All my work was deleted in a harddrive crash today, on April 1st..

Don't worry though, I'm not giving up 6 months of hard work and learning on how to make an MMORPG, I've already started over, but it will take a loooong while to finish.

Oh don't worry, if I ever need a special part of my code I can always go to one of the office PC's I've been using at work But the redo feels important to me somehow, because I've learned what's needed to make an MMORPG, and will now start over with an engine that is alot more efficient that contains less events.

In order to go through this great feeling 'making it new and better', I require a decent graphical artist for my new aim in the graphical part of the game.. Which is making the resolution as big as 1280x1024, and making all the previously 'pixelated' sprites look alot more 'texturish', which means making them look cool and awesome for a 2D game. I dunno if I should ask for a 3D designer or a spriter for this task, but I think the guy who made 'The Lost Castle' made excellent buildings! O.O

Edit: Oh and it's a shame to know that you guys are all better than me in Click-products yet I'm trying to make an MMORPG.

Hehehe, good luck man .

I work with a friend to make MMO's mostly, we started making mmo's back with TGF, and now we use MMF2, wish we had MMF2DEV but it just wasnt worth the extra cash.

Well, i can tell you this much, do as many backups as you possible can.
HDD crashes seems like a normal day when you work on something good.

This model was render at http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/stormbucking/Minotaur128x128.png
I prefer to work on 128x128 render becuse the render are clean and sharp looking and building keyfram sets from 12 to 30 fram depending on the tip animation frames that are needed.
If you are in to this Tip of deal and want to Talk about it PM me and we well have a chat on working things out.

I won't forget Borgi.

MMF2 has the anti-aliasing feature, and since the whole environment will be strictly following the whole isometric system, I don't think it'd look too shabby having antialiased smooth objects in the game. If you're thinking of Super Mario RPG or something being ugly as hell, it surely won't be the same thing.

And the 3D models might be ugly if the environment looks all 2D-pixelish while the 3D objects are heavily detailed, but hopefully you will assist me in making the environment aswell. The characters dont need to look amazingly detailed in the small-scaled version as the environment isn't aimed to be extremely detailed along with it, more being a smooth and softish world (think of it as a kirby game with a smooth and soft environment).

Okey... but if the players looks like real people and the environment looks like kirby style It wont look to good I would sluggest to cellshade the players or something... they need to seam to exist in the same reality... well you need to decide a style/design for the entire game... is it childish or is it dark and allot of blood... I dont think you can have them both

Well, I haven't gotten a clear idea of how it's supposed to look in my head.. I just know that the ending result will be smooth with less reflective 3D objects, because since it's limited to 2D environment we can't utilize the reflection anyway.

Cel-Shading is just as fine, I will leave it to be up to the spriter somewhat.
