It makes me sad... no stars for us 'mericans. Nintendo power is a good magazine. It's the only video game magazine I can look through without flinching while my mom is near. (Of course, you all wouldn't give a poop about extra bad violence and naughty pictures. But I got standards. Not that the occasional violent title isn't fun. I enjoy a good round of halo. But I'm talkin Ninja Gaiden and the like.) They say when a wii game has tacky controls. They've got the widest range of content (for a console-specific magazine, that is.) and it's clean, but fun. That's partially why I like nintendo. (Not a fanboy, just a fan.) They have fun stuff, but it's not morally degrading. Yea, yell at me all ya want. It would just prove my point. I can't even stand to look through the PSM or XBOX mag. Absolutely no content, and dumb gunk everywhere.
Argh! I just went about swapped 400 points for 100 wii points. Then went back to get more, and I couldnt. Either each member is limited to one amount or they went really fast. Either way, it's bloody stupid, what good is 100 wii points?
Ugh, I got caught by that too. I'll just get some more tomorrow. Let's hope the world doesn't run out of 16 digit random numbers like they did in April!
Blech. I had Nintendo power back when I had my N64 and it was mostly guides and maps and such. You'd pretty much know what score a game would get in the review a year before it came out. Overhyped Rare games would always get a 9 or a 10 and the big nintendo games would get 8s or 9s.
I think EGM is a pretty honest mag, and IGN is a good site for news and reviews. I'm pretty sure Sega pays off Play magazine after every issue though. They're the only ones left promoting sega's crap.

It's good if you bought a 2000 point card, then bought 2 SNES or Megadrive games on the VC (800 points a piece). That leaves you with 400 points and there's nothing you can buy at that price. Add another 100 though and you can buy a NES games
- Ok, you must admit that was the most creative cussing this site have ever seen -
I finally got upstairs to the loft and checked the Wii and DS boxes. Yup, there are VIP cards inside those, too. 1000 stars for the Wii and 500 for the DS (1200 stars = 300 shopping channel points)
Sorry to bump an old thread but they're offering Nintendo Stars for Wiiware/VC games too. I think this is a new feature because I don't remember seeing it before.
