I want to make my vertical bar counter have a certain colour chosen by the player. all well and good or so you would think... just set the colour chosen to a global value and then set the colour of the bar to the global value. WRONG - it doesn't work! Under Bars in the event editor there are 2 options - set colour of bar and set colour#2 of bar - tried both of these and a combination of both and - NADA. Please can someone help?

NVM - fixed it. In order to set the colour using this method you have to have the bar colour be a gradient then set both colours of the bar in the Event Editor to your Global Value!!
