Ah, I remember the first "game" I ever made in TGF.. It was the Hero sprite included with TGF on some of the "machine" style tiles. Because I hadn't worked out about platform collisions and whatnot (and didn't for a surprisingly long time!) It only was playable in Test Movement. And basically it consisted of a 640x480 screen where you walked around.
Unsurprisingly, It's name was "Newgame".
The first game I've actually completed was Toxic Escape - a game I put on this site then promptly took down because it was - not to put too fine a point on it - pants.
That was a loooong time ago.
Here's my first game. Everyone took what I said in it the wrong way though, as I was talking about the fifteen bazillion games "made to be crappy" as they always would say after someone commented badly about them. I downloaded so many of those things, bleh! ... I'm sure glad that TDC's standards have gone up so dramatically. Now there's nothing but good games, first games and opensource engines uploaded for the most part, and that's a very good thing.
