Wow, Now that I realize it I really haven't done much gaming lately. And I've been neglecting MMF2 really bad this whole summer. Haven't gone on a trip or done much walking either.
"gardening (built a pebble pool )"
Ooooh, mind if you show some pictures? Cause I love pebble pools.
"And LOL at W3r3w00f for the knitting thing, but in a nice and un-cruel way "
Lol but it's relaxing! haha
And wow, s-m-r, sounds like you had a pretty awesome summer!
I've been trying to stay cool. I think I have Carpal Tunnel and the heat is making my fingers swell, it hurts to click :[
I went to Comic Con in San Diego on saturday, it was pretty cool. Had to sneak in though so I didn't have a pass to go to the panels, so I missed out on a lot. Still fun! All the games there were... shit. I guess it's all fanboy stuff anyway. Some REALLY inspiring artwork, though. Giant Pikachu is always a happy sight.
I've been playing Spelunky whenever my hands feel ok. I've completed it once all the way through in about 500 games and it doesn't get boring. EVER. Genius design.
Aside from that, been swimming, playing pool, my wife's birthday was great, my friend is visiting me all the way from England, I've been addicted to peanut butter and I've been trying to design epic games.

I've done plenty of piddly things like people have been listing, but nothing really unusual. Put in a few job applications, yard work, watched a few movies (LOTR FTW!), playing a lot of guitar and piano. (Accordion's still out of comission) Done quite a fair amount of graphics work in GIMP, and as always I write a lot to keep up my brain. It's just that none of that is interesting or summer-exclusive.

Didn't want people to think by gardening I meant mowing the grass and weeding Planted a few exotic plants that can only grow in the Summer in England, so I made the most of them whilst we had some sunshine Luckily most of the palms I planted can survive winter frosts
Okay I'm done

I want to do that

That vocal thing sounds (LAL) interesting. But really it does. A tutor built a flash game where you could control a first person game by tapping left or right on the desk. Kinda like Mirrors Edge I guess but just running on flat rooftops collecting powerups. Was quite fun too!
I'm in the process of building a TARDIS in the bathroom.
