Always the possibility that he just doesn't have the same taste in games? Sure he didn't do a good job of making it sounds more like a statement of opinion than a statement of fact, but still...

I agree with the above post 
Whether you dislike OOT or not, it's pretty hard to argue it is a bad game.
@ Jon: How can you dislike ice cream, cake and pie? Apple Pie with some ice cream is so yummy!

Me neither, but they have re-released so much. I mean I had a NES, then I had the same games again on All Stars. Then I had the same games again on the GBA. I did see the other day All Stars has been re-released for the Wii. I guess that's a good thing for the younger generations mind.
The Jungle is allegedly running Linux, so that may prove to be a good platform for running emulation on. May turn out to be 3D0 mark II mind...
Cheeers Brandon and Jon (I can see the Xperia Play being $$$ though). I am very tempted with a GP2X Caanoo or Wiz tbh

Ahaha I have a co-worker that doesn't care much for icecream OR cake . . .and a friend that doesn't like cake. I can kind of understand not liking cake, but ice cream? Crazy.
I love zelda games usually. Link to the Past is my favorite. Links awakening was alright and adventures of link was pretty good too and is severely under-rated. I felt like OoT was mediocre at best in just about every aspect - gameplay, controls - partially due to that god awful controller, dungeon design, difficulty curve, etc. I got wind waker for xmas from a friend, but have only watched another friend play the first 30 minutes or so . . . pretty sure I'll love the game once I finally get to play it. I haven't had time to play the majoras mask file I started a few weeks ago so I have no opinion on it yet, besides that I hate the controls because they are the same as OoT's.
That said, okami, pikmin, super metroid, metroid, megaman x (1,2,4) and the nes ones, sonic adventure 1/2, sonic 1,2,3,knuckles etc., Unreal Tournament 99, rune factory, secret of mana/evermore, legend of mana, ninja gaiden (xbox), tales of the abyss, pokemon gold/silver/heartgold/soulsilver, terranigma, bangai-o, power stone 1, mushihime-sama futari 1.5, TMNT 2 the arcade game, TMNT 4 turtles in time, super mario RPG, grandia 1 and 2, skies of arcadia, stepmania, in the groove 2, final fantasy 1,4,6,7, castlevania, contra 1 and alien wars, Resident Evil:Code Veronic, RE4, RE5, Yoshi's Island (NOT STORY), DKC 1,2,3, returns, Star Fox SNES, Killer Instinct, Illusion of Gaia, Punchout, earth worm jim 1 (genesis), Kirby nes, rocket knight adventures, goemon (n64), gradius, The Lion King (gamegear + genesis + haha), jungle strike, ys: oath in felghana, phantasy star online, and Monster hunter Tri. Oh and Sin and Punishment is probably my favorite N64 game and possibly the only one I really enjoy immensely.
Those are just a few of the games that I like - off the top of my head.
I have okamiden pre-ordered and I'm preordering pokemon black + white next week - radiant historia soon, and possibly some others. I might be picking up a 3DS with kid icarus at launch as well given I have quite a bit of money saved up in best buy cards from xmas/birthday.
I just have an extreme dislike (HATRED  ) for ocarina of time.

Cannot forget the demons souls is an awesome game and the sequel is coming out this year in japan. Wee.

People are allowed to dislike games that are generally considered popular 
Take me, for instance. I absolutely cannot stand the Gran Turismo games, despite them all (apart from maybe the latest version) getting good scores.
All a matter of taste
