Dislike and calling a game bad are two enitrely different things, Circy. There is a distinction. I may dislike game, but I will not call it bad just becuase I do not like it.
The N64 controller was pretty good when you got used to it, and I have hands like George Foreman and I had no problems with it. Anyway you have redeemed yourself a bit Clyde Frog, by mentioning A Link To The Past as your favourite Zelda

Selective interpretation/taking it too seriously . Its quite obviously an opinion . . . no one person controls what everyone thinks about something. I just happen to think the game is god awful/not fun to play and severely over-rated.
On the subject of controllers : I have huge hands as well and I still think it is possibly the worst controller ever made. The control stick on it broke all the time too haha. I also think that the GC controller is a humongous pile as the button layout is completely random. HUGE A Button, tiny B button, super bouncy triggers, one random normal trigger, awkward X/Y button shape + location What the hell were they thinking? I tried playing Megaman X on a GC to show some friends a 45-50 minute Megaman X 100% speedrun and I had a hell of a time dashing and jumping at the same time. As for Wii . . . I think the only problem is that the analog stick doesn't provide a very good range of motion like Xbox 360 ones do. If it were like the 360 ones it would be a bit more comfortable and much more practical. Its usable at least.

"I'd rather see a bunch of good exclusive games, not some shitty remake of an already bad game like ocarina of time"
"I just happen to think the game is god awful/not fun to play and severely over-rated." Couldn't you have just said that in the first place?

The gamecube controller is one of my favorites.
Then again, I don't mind the 64 controller all too much.
I hope the 3DS isn't awkward to hold while using the slidepad or stylus. Some games that use the buttons and stylus at the same time on the DS are carpal tunnel waiting to happen.

My posts was also obviously opinion, but only my post got pointed at (and the admins wonder why people are uppety). Gamecube controllers was awesome. The whole point of the button size and layout was determined upon the frequency of their use, the GC controllers feel natural to me. I would rather have a GC controller over the Wii Remotes et al anyday.
Best controller for me is SNES/Dual Shock (which Sony blatantly ripped off)/GC.
Anyway shall we get back on topic?

Unannounced games you want to be announced. Even absurd ones.
3DS:
New Zelda
New Mario
New Metroid
(What a fanboy!)
Portal
Halo
Other... stuff.
PSP2:
I already mentioned Sly Cooper.
Hmm... slightly lopsided, it seems.

Warioware, I'm interested in what the 3d would do for it
Psp2
If they hack it:
n64 emulator.

I was wondering if the 3DS would make a nice emulation handheld. GBA and DS could run NES and SNES emulators but lacked the resolution to do so nicely.

The 3DS has a resolution of 400x240 (for the upper screen) which should be sufficient for most retro games.

Portal would be more likely to be on the PSP2 since it's already on the Playstation 3.
Halo? lol, Halo 3 and Reach aren't even on PC and Microsoft made Windows too.

I would rather see original games than watered down PC/360/PS3 titles.

Well, if they had a prototype of Halo for the DS, it's not beyond imagining. They seem to be pushing Windows Phone 7 as their mobile connection to XBOX though. I said "even absurd ones."
Phredreeke, I would too. But if we're going to list, it's got to pull from established stuff unless we're going to share our ideas for our own games for it.

PSP2 is meant to have decent graphics, plus it has 2 joysticks (so 3DS will probably only be good for 2D games). But then again, I don't particularly like playing on handhelds any more, screens are far too small, if they were at least 7 or more inches I might consider it.
Wouldn't mind trying the OoT remake though, since I didn't play all of OoT before - the N64 graphics are awful.

Personally, battery life has always put me in a state of paranoid when it comes to handheld gaming anymore. I know it's because I use a phone to play games and not a hand held gaming system like I probably should, but idk I mean I would rather play Fruit Ninja or Angry Birds when I'm on my break at work or on the bus when I'm not listening to music or watching some TYT on Youtube.
I say both look to have a solid niche and shouldn't really be compared to one another. The 3DS with it's ability to play 3D movies would be a selling point for me. However an all around gaming console-like experience like the PSP2 seems to offer, is also very appealing. Neither however seem to justify me holding something that big and bulky in my pocket, when I'm paranoid to drain it's battery down to the point where it's an expensive paperweight until I get it home. I'd be more interested in getting something like a Kindle or some kind of eReader.
I already hold a Droid in my right pocket and a ZuneHD in my left pocket.
Nah, but seriously. Both look like solid strives forward and if I had the money to drop for one or the other, I'd probably spoil myself on one or the other.

You could always just buy a Dingoo like I did, it's basically a SNES controller with a screen, looks pretty and runs NES, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, Sega, C64, Mame, ScummVM, PSX(kinda) and a lot more.....I have like 5000 games on it lol....
Google it, you can get one for like....$60 USD or so, I got mine for 30 bucks lol
thinking is like pong, it's easy, but you miss sometimes.
