i played worms war 4. do you saw what was menu like?
i love that. i created (in my game) two active objects, one horizontal line and one vertical line (horizontal x=650x4, vertical 490x4). always set vertical line x current mouse x, and always set horizontal line's y at mouse y. effect is similiar to menu in worms war 4.
BUT GODDDAMNIT I CANT STOP LINE'S GOING OUT OF PLAY FIELD.....
what should i do? in worms war everything's that is done perfect.
i have tgf pro and if anyone can, upload an example somewhere. THX!

Put in a condition that prevents the bars from getting out of the playfield e.g.
X("bar1") < 0 --> set x of bar 1 to 0
Hopefully that should work. If that's too choppy try putting it in your always statement.

"Always" has been in since K&P... It's under Special → Always/Never → Always.

by the way, i noticed in worms war 4 in menu, mouse won't go away from playfield.
if it is, i would have to get it back in playfield before i can see vertical or horizontal line moving, and in worm wars 4 i don't need to return it. so i think that colej_uk used a mouse object, or object which has got functions of seting xy mouse position.
