I hate when people complain about other people selling their games just because they are made in 'klik' software. Especially if the person who is selling the game is serious and has a nice quality product. I would go with doing everything yourself. www.esellerate.com is a good site to help you along with the 'process', but all the marketing and stuff should be done by you. Especially with just one or two people working on a project, you can get screwed over too easily.

More and more publishers who used to take 2D games don't anymore, they want 3D games now, or at least games created in a true 3D enviroment. There are still some 'smaller' publishers who take 2D games, but they're really looking for good queality/good playable/original games. To create those can be quite a challenge. I've seen quite a number of good click games but some of the prices just aren't right at all. You can pick up great games like Empire Earth, Age of kings and so on for 10 euros (less then $10) or even less and then to ask $20 or more for a click game, that seems absurd.

Anyway it is possible to sell click games through your website or through a publisher, some of my click games are being sold in stores in Europe, USA and the Middle East (through a publisher).
