I've read that 3D Studio uses C Script which is apperntly easyer then C++, but I thought I'd ask around the boards for someone who has some experence. Does anyone know if 3D Studio is easy? How long does it take does it normally take to learn?

3D Studio isn't easy at all, but it's probably one of the most intuitive 3D languages. If you download GMax (it's free) you can see if it's alright for you. But no professional 3D programs are 'easy' for beginners.
I used 3DSMax at college for 2 years, and I'm still nothing special at using it. It all takes time.

Well I see myself as a person who is good at level design, & with 2D games, that really doesnt seem to add the full power into making a top qualilty level that gets players lost. Only because its not 3D, & I was hoping that some time I could start programing in 3D code, so I can first of all make the engine myself, & second of all, make levels for it.

Julia Sanders - Eer.. Where did you get that information? Maya works as good with games as max does. I know, because I'm using it everyday for game development.

I've never used Maya or Lightwave or anything other than 3DStudio MAX, so I can't comment. All I know is MAX gets the job done as well as I could want or need.

CGMonkey that info i got from working for blizzard, rockstar, valve, IOI and many more. And the fact is low polygon modeling in maya is at least 4-5 times more time consuming.

Its challenging to learn but not above a level of being able to learn it. If your serious then it shouldn't be too hard to learn the basics.
