Hi guys,

I've been looking for info regarding the release date of MMF2, and the only thing I can find is '1st quarter 2004'. Does anyone have any idea/guess when it might be out, or even how much progress Clickteam have made on it?
The other thing i'm wondering about is scrolling in MMF2 - will it be faster in higher resolutions? That's one of the biggest things im concerned about.

Cheers.

I believe theres a possibility that MMF2 could be out in time for Christmas, but realistically, expect around January/February time. I know that its due to undergo extensive final testing VERY soon (like... the end of this month) to selected individuals

As for the scrolling, don't expect it to be too different. Have you tried decreasing the number of colours your game has?

Unless the graphical operations are sped up (which from what I hear, isn't happening), then it will not get any faster.

MMF 1.5 has DirectX and VRAM options. Turn them on and scrolling goes smooth and quick since it enables basic hardware acceleration.
And MMF 1.5 has a "Vsync" option too...

Does anyone ever listen to CT?

As a boy, I wanted to be a train. I didn’t realize this was unusual—that other kids played with trains, not as them.

I'm worried that MMF2 will become self-aware and infect our computers in order to destroy the human race. Hopefully Clickteam will have a contingency plan in case that happens.

That'll only happen if it can self-compile.
