I really like your animations, they are far better than most 3d animations that come from independant developers in my opinion. The only thing that bothers me is that they look like they are sped up by 1.5 or 2 times or something, which gives them kind of a robotic look and makes them much more unrealistic than they actually are.
Also I would have liked to see some longer parts of the gameplay instead of 3second clips, but maybe this way you could show off more locations which is alright, because I like the visuals of the game very much. In general I dislike 3d to 2d graphics, but in this case it looks really good. Thumbs up!
Hey thanks heaps for your great comments. Yes it's true I was hoping to squeeze in a lot of different content in a short space and admittedly was worried about boring the viewer with with long sections. I know this makes it hard to take it all in (especially the dialogue parts).
Regarding the animations - my goal was to create a sense of uneasiness, a kind of super-real feel about it all. So it's a blend of stop motion and smooth.
Whether I was successful in pulling it off, I'm not sure. Lol
Well, i got two words that conjure up my feelings for the game and its characters: "weird" and "awesome"! This is shaping up to be very very impressive. I have high hopes for the gameplay in Lylian: Episode 1
