Project Overview
Preview A online version of the classic board game RISK!

Planning on supporting up to 6 players. Since this is an engine, users could make their own maps. Most likely I will not make a map maker/editor.

The only map I made, that I'm using to test the engine with, is the United States. Each state is treated as its own country, so its basically like a civil war map.

In this picture, You see the five of the six colors I am using in the game:

All the states are separate files, which the engine loads along with a config file
and builds the map in runtime. As you can see, the entire map isn't on the screen. That's because on
large maps, you can scroll around to view the rest of the map.

This is the frame, as seen as in the MMF frame editor.

I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO HELP WITH GRAPHICS!!!!
This person would create graphics such as the HUD, menus, and other fun stuff like that. If your interested, please post.

Lobby Development
Posted 2nd Dec 10, by flyingcow93 Post A Comment
No screenshots this time, because nothing visual has changed, but the lobby is about half functional after today. Here is a list of things that work and still need to be done:

Done:
Chat
Map loading
Armies
Setting player color
Setting player territory

Need to finish:
Displaying all the players colors
Displaying all the players territories
War?

I finished cutting the map and importing into the game. Just got to finish up the dot placement (And I need a new image for the dot, it blends in with these images). Looks pretty sweet, if you ask me.

Map upgrade!

I decided to upgrade to satellite images, instead of the cartoony map style from before. Working on cutting out all the states, you can monitor my progress with this picture:
