Project Overview
Originally intended for the "TGMGF Contest" (announced by "The Games Machine", the most important videogames' magazine
in Italy, and sponsored by Wizard of the Coast and Intel), "Killem the Freak and the World of Magic" is a platform based
on the atmosphere of Magic the Gathering, the most popular cards' game in the World.

Killem can do almost everything: run, jump, shoot, duck .. he can even interact with some elements of the background
(for example he can use moving platforms, ride creatures or cling to some object). The engine has been programmed "ad hoc"
for this game (the stupid custom platform movement of TGF has not been used).

The game presents several levels (Corondor, Phyrexia, Terisiare - Ice Age and Wildfire), all filled with monsters and creatures inspired to Magic.
There's also Bosses (Cradle Guard, Johtull Wurm ... and a surprise) at the end of each level and a Bonus Stage too.

Killem can kill enemies by using several kinds of magic and weapons inspired to the five "mana" possibilities:
(Red, Blue, White, Green and Black); to defeat them, he can jump on their heads too (aka Toki).

There is an animated introduction, a final sequence, credits and an options page.

"Killem the Freak" took several months for its realization.
Graphics is original 100%; everything in this game has been drawn by hand, coloured and animated. Absolutely NOTHING
has been ripped or copied from other games.
Sound is impressive, too. Mp3 Soundtrack has been composed by A.Atmosphere, a skilful Italian Ambient Music composer.

Because of his complexity, the size of the game is considerable (about 48 Mb). Probably there will be a light version, too
(No music at all), even though I recommend you to download the full version to really enjoy it.

Actually the game is complete, I just have to wait for the expiry of an agreement with "The Games Machine".
Then, I can publish the game. It should be out within the end of May.

Feedback, please ...
