COMMENTS

CHRIS:

This game is unbearably user-unfriendly. From the initial "calender" scene, where you have to pick windows, it's not clear at all what you have to do. Once you do manage to blag your way to the first stage, you're treated to a very basic platformer... and even then it's not clear what you have to do! The interface is also unfriendly; you're treated to basic text strings and default MMF buttons. It's not an attractive prospect, and to be honest I did not enjoy the game one bit. It's frustrating, because clearly a fair bit of effort has gone in. The game does have a Christmassy feeling, so I can't mark it down for that, but the game has a severe lack of enjoyment and clarity. Note for next time Mark: don't forget that, although you know what to do, it doesn't mean everyone else will!

ASSAULT ANDY:

  • Really just had no idea how to play this game, I didn't know how to handle the "main menu".
  • I went through the source and played each of the levels and it was all very confusing.
  • Sorry, I just didn't find it a lot of fun and I had no idea how to play most of the levels.
