CHRIS:
Firstly, I've decided to knock off some points for the graphics on this entry. The creator of this game posted a request in the TDC forums at the very last minute for graphics for this competition, and was provided some old graphics by another forum member. There was simply no effort whatsoever - call it a controversial move if you like but I felt it was necessary. Now to the game - you control a hat in a very multicoloured "exploration" platformer which actually gave me headaches on occasion. I've got no idea what I'm supposed to be doing, and I found the gameplay to be pretty mediocre anyway. Jesus Hat uses the default platform engine, so henceforth all of the usual issues. You don't seem to be able to kill anything, only stun enemies for a very short amount of time with candy canes. The music however is pretty catchy but there's not enough of it, and really that's the only decent thing with this entry. More effort was definitely required.

FLAVA:
This was a pretty weird game. You control a hat, walk through green flags and avoid many different obstacles. Sometimes it's nice to see a game that has that sort of weird feel to in, with spinning objects and strange backdrops. But I think this game tries too hard to do that, and the frustrating controls make this game quite annoying. Because of that, the game can be quite difficult and the enemies can be a pain in the butt when you're trying to get somewhere. The enemies don't really make the game challenging, they make it annoying and almost near impossible (in some cases) to actually complete the game. Nice effort but it just isn't fun for me to play.

Interesting idea? I hope this is at joke entry. Otherwise, I'm sorry. It's a fair effort for a joke entry if it is one, it's kind of fun :P
